THE ULTIMATE MEN'S SUMMIT - ACTIVATING 21st CENTURY MASCULINITY (FREE)

( I received an email this morning I'd like to share with all men and women here )
Are you ready to be a 21st Century man (or empower the men in your life to be one)?

We're very excited to share that more than 75 remarkable global leaders such as Robert Bly, Jack Canfield, Neale Donald Walsch and Sam Keen are coming together for an unprecedented and historic Ultimate Men's Summit to chart the path forward into a new kind of masculinity - all for free.
At The Shift Network, we have offered many women's programs and now it's time to empower men to step up into our noblest, highest role for the years ahead.

As men, we are waking up to our true gifts - and stewarding the emergence of a new era. We're evolving a new form of masculinity - one infused with integrity, authenticity, generosity and virtue. And we're living more purposefully and finding ways to serve a cause greater than ourselves.

It's not an easy path. We're learning as we go - transforming our past, exploring our inner truths and expressing our strengths in new ways. We're learning to lead boldly without dominating, feel fully and freely, and use our power to protect instead of destroy. And we have further to go - both for the sake of our liberation and the world's.

That's why we are thrilled to invite you to attend the Ultimate Men's Summit - a free 10-day teleconference, June 10-19. We'll be hosting this historic virtual gathering of teachers, authors and elders who will offer their hard-earned, no-holds-barred wisdom about manhood, masculinity and personal development.

Click here to sign up now for this FREE virtual event - the largest men's summit ever.

You'll also learn from inspiring and transformational trailblazers like Gary Zukav, Dan Millman, Hal Stone, Andrew Harvey, John Perkins, Claudio Naranjo and Gay Hendricks (plus a few great women such as Riane Eisler).

We hope you'll join us for the Ultimate Men's Summit. It's a fantastic opportunity for you to take part in accelerating the transformation of men into a new era, which will also help you achieve the ultimate version of yourself - successful, fulfilled, generous, awake and strong.

Of course, the Summit is open to women as well, who are warmly welcome to join us and learn more about 21st Century Masculinity. It's clear we need to work together with women, hand in hand, to create a new Earth.

Each speaker will offer their deepest insights about what it takes to mature and grow as a man, and they'll give you specific practices you can use to move your life forward. They are making it very practical and real - not just talking heads - but tools to accelerate your growth, evolution and expression as a man in the world.

The link again to register is: http://ultimatemenssummit.com/

Please do share this with your friends and allies as well. We look forward to seeing you at the Ultimate Men's Summit!

THE HAIR, THE HEAD AND THE BLOOD STREAM

There is something I've been thinking lately, which has to do with feminine vanity as well as personal hygiene and looks.
It's very normal for women to dye their hair these days, my mom does it, my sister's do it, my aunts do it, I do it, gosh everyone I know does it! Well every woman I know.
I know it cannot be very good for me, after all I imagine those chemicals activating the coloring soak through your scalp and perhaps get into your blood stream.
"Last year on December 1st, a ban on 22 hair dye substances issued by the European Commission, a body that drafts legislation for the European Union, took effect. These substances had been linked to bladder cancer in a 2001 University of Southern California study." ~ http://www.naturalnews.com/022575.html
Of course they are making hair dye as safe as possible, but let's face it they still have to sell hair dye with a good profit so the major brands aren't gonna go all organic and safe - no don't see that happening anytime soon.

I started using this shampoo & conditioner that was organic and bio degradable, very good for hair, head and nature, but not stellar on dyed hair. I got a gift to the hair salon, to get my hair dyed with few colors, it cost bloody 100€ so I thought I'd get the salon quality dyed hair shampoo & conditioner, L’Oreal’s something Professional. Now I didn't see the difference right away it took about a month, but I noticed a lack of interest. Thinking back I can point to what did it. It's interesting that after dyeing my hair ( which I admit I do every two months or so at home ) at the salon, then buying chemical shampoo after getting use to of my organic shampoo that I noticed I wasn't quite so interested in spiritual matter as I was in my first half 2010.

It happened to be a giant bottle of that shampoo, so it is still in use, and I am seriously considering of dropping them, the conditioner as well.
On that note I am considering stopping dyeing my hair - which is a much bigger issue of vanity ( can't imagine I know a lady who would disagree that dyeing is done due to vanity ) and much harder to do. I recall I spend four months not dyeing my hair until I couldn't take it any longer and gave in.

Of course there is the organic way and brands, but how is that any different when you get down to the point of vanity and altering your looks?
Why do I need to look different, or specifically be a certain tone of brunette?
Spiritually speaking I do not see any need for that.
Vanity's point of view is different of course! Finns are known to have this interesting hair color in the shade of ash. Yep - not really pretty under the current standards, where colors are pure and dark and hair needs to be glossy. I recall a hairdresser telling me how my normal hair color was a pretty brown but just dull and not glossy. I didn't think much of it then, and agreed - but I bloody well want to like my own hair! If it happens to be the color of field mouse then be it, it doesn't change anything about me, doesn't change who I AM.

I have been searching some Finnish blogs and there seems to be a trend currently of bringing back our natural hair color, Yay! I don't mind at all jumping into that bandwagon and taking a ride. One lady even went as far to say that natural Finnish hair color can seem exotic to the non-Finns. ( http://pupulandia.indiedays.com/2010/05/10/hiusvarien-taisto-maantie-vs-toffee/ ) LOL! That's a very good positive attitude!
Also I asked my husband if he would develop symptoms of panic and get urges to divorce me if I stopped coloring my hair, his answer was fairly simple although repeating it I will remove the sexual context for younger audience, 'As long as you women have long hair, were all good...'

Should be a test worth taking, huh? A little dare.
Alright I dare you, Niina, to not dye your hair for a year. To use organic shampoo & conditioner and not spray your head with chemicals.

I would like to not dumb myself down with product of vanity, not lose interest and to be lighter just by knowing I am doing the right thing by my body. I'm ready to enjoy this adventure of a life organically, just as my body was created without messing with the basics. Now a nice shirt or pair of shoes is enough of a decoration!

LUNAR ECLIPSE DREAM OF FEMININE AND MASCULINE ENERGIES

Dreamed before the Lunar Eclipse.

The Dream = I was somewhere with mom, but don't recall more next I was at work telling the kids the Lunar Eclipse was happening, we looked out and sawmany moons in difffrenet phases. Next Barbie and Ken jumped in to a pool, they went back to the house, police arrived and questioned Ken. Barbie was upset and taken to one of three empty rooms to sleep. next morning I go tothe yard, ken turned into David Boreanas and was angry at me, I was trying to get to work

Mother =The general image of "mother" in a dream may symbolize a variety of feelings and ideas: caring, nurturing, love, acceptance, hard work, sacrifice, martyrdom, etc. Thus, the woman is that force, or current, inside of you that nudges you on and inspires you. It is your intuition and the knowledge that is not necessarily attached to words.  ( this dream is about my intuition and knowledge not attached to word )
Children =  Children in dreams could symbolize a need and an eagerness to learn, simplicity, intuition, new endeavors and many other positive attributes of childhood.   ( intuition again, learning, wondering about the moons in the sky  )
Moon = The moon is an interesting symbol that connotes feminine energy; it is associated with the irrational and the intuitive. The moon effects the ocean tides, and it has been linked to madness or lunacy. The moon could represent romance and our earthly impulses and passions. It could reveal things about the nature of soul and the unconscious. For those lucky people, the moon can reflect their inner peace and feelings of serenity and security.  ( feminine energy, intuition again (! third times the charm ,) ) reveals things of our soul and unconsciouness... inner peace, serenity and security I felt those look at the eclipses everytime.  )
Men (Ken) =   It is Carl Jung who suggested that women in dreams represent our collective unconscious and men collective consciousness. Men, on the other hand, represent the active part that uses the information received to create the physical reality of our lives. When the two are working together well we have balance and experience awareness that leads to peace and productivity. ( They were happy, watching the sky in the pool )
Women (Barbie) = It is Carl Jung who suggested that women in dreams represent our collective unconscious and men collective consciousness. Thus, the woman is that force or current inside of you that nudges you on and inspires you. It is your intuition and the knowledge that in not necessarily attached to words. When the two are working together well we have balance and experience awareness that leads to peace and productivity.  ( They were happy, watching the sky in the pool )
Pool =  For many people swimming pools are associated with summer fun, vacations, rest, and relaxation. Interpret your dream based on its content and see if any these positive feelings are being conveyed to you. All bodies of water represent our emotions and unconscious. The manner in which they are presented depends on the dreamer and on the details of the dream. ( they were jumping into the pool, they played jumping to a net first that held them from water )
House = They usually symbolize our emotional and psychological selves. All of your experiences, stages of development, and parts of your conscious and unconscious life may be represented by that house. The house may be representing issues concerning a particular dilemma in your life, or it may be more general and comprehensive. ( in the house "ken" was held to be questioned by the authorities )
Police = The police could be addressing Karmic Law as well as the laws in our physical world. If you are feeling that you can't meet all of your obligations and fear repercussions due to an unmet commitment, the police may be an unwelcome sight. On a more positive note and depending on the details of your dream, the police could symbolize support and protection. Your emotional response to the dream will provide you with good clues to interpreting this dream accurately. Old dream interpretation books say that dreaming about police is an indication that you will obtain unexpected assistance with a current problem. ( they were there to conduct their business to do with "ken" the physical world the collective conscioness and didn't have enything done with "barbie" the feminine  intuition )
Day = To dream of a sunny day represents clear thinking and/or satisfaction. You are able to view things with a clear conscience. ( the next day was clear and sunny )
Celebrity (David Boreanaz) = Sometimes dreaming about a famous actor or actress may be a wish-fulfilling dream, or it could hold important messages about ourselves. We admire celebrities and may wish to have some of their characteristics. Consider the personality traits or any other trait that attracts you to that person. ( personality traits, strong, brave, masculine, tough - the thing is he was mad, well he was happy but gave to his feelings of anger and started ranting )
Work = Represent the need to accomplish something, get to work, take on a project or start some endeavor. ( as I wanted to go to work means I want to beging something new )

Niina's Dream Interpretation
Alright! Interesting choice for the Lunar Eclipse dream! All about Feminine and Masculine energies and traits... This dream is about my intuition, my inexplanable knowledge,  learning about the feminine Moon energies inspiring and revealing my soul and conscioness. The Feminine and Masculine even though playing with Water (emotions) didn't get into it but jumped on the safety net above the water, as if still not ready to submerge in emotions, feelings.
This is very true, look at anyone who crosses your way today and see how they hold themselves back from emotions, they don't say hello, don't smile, if they do and they see you wathing they stop. Human are a weird bunch, we have all these emotions but we do not want outsider to see them. It is like people are saying "I don't want anyone to know me, they don't need to know how much money I make, if I am ill or if I am sad". Feminine and Masculine just don't want to submerge in emotions yes, not publicly.
With me and within me the masculine is being questioned, the traits of me that have strength and bravery, power and toughness is what authorities are questioning about me as I am a woman I think. I question, the authorities question. And this is what needs to be worked on during this Lunar Eclipse!

WOMEN, FOOD AND GOD (BOOK)

I just visited a really good scandinavian "amazon.com" called Adlibris which has a genuinly great amount of english language books for us who don't like to wait for translations on interesting titles that may never arrive.

I first heard of "Women, Food and God" by Geneen Roth when she opened as quest when the teleseries ( free by the way ;) ) Women on the Edge of Evolution started again.
Then another e-mail to her 150$ online retreat arrived - it sounded really good, but as on a forever budget I have no way to participate I decided to look up her book instead ( 13€ vs. 150$  - and we had a clear winner ). From the first paragraph on her prologue and I wanted the book and ordered the book! Have look yourself and see if you order it as well.
Geneen Roth's pioneering books were among the first to link compulsive eating and perpetual dieting with deeply personal and spiritual issues that go far beyond food, weight and body image.
She believes that we eat the way we live, and that our relationship to food, money and love is an exact reflection of our deepest held beliefs about ourselves and the amount of joy, abundance, pain or scarcity we believe we have (or are allowed to have) in our lives.

Rather than pushing away the "crazy" things we do, Geneen's work proceeds with the conviction that our actions and beliefs make exquisite sense, and that the way to transform our relationship with food is to be open, curious and kind with ourselves--instead of punishing, impatient and harsh.

In the past thirty years, she has worked with hundreds of thousands of people using meditation, inquiry, and a set of seven eating guidelines that are the foundation of natural eating.

INHERENTLY FEMININE POWER (FREE AUDIO)

What if we were to discover that the monumental shift in culture catalyzed by the women's movements of the 60s and 70s, had only but scratched the surface of our possibility, power and potential as women. Women today have an unprecedented access to freedom and power that would have been unimaginable to our feminist foremothers. As a result, many of us now intuit our sacred obligation to leverage the boon of that privilege so as to further the project of emancipation and cultural evolution that first lit the fire of the feminist revolution.

Join us with author and inspirational coach, Susan Schachterle, who shares the wisdom she has gained from decades of experience assisting women to step out of powerlessness and into their deepest potential and possibility for impacting change in the world. Susan is a best-selling author ( The Bitch, The Crone, and The Harlot; and the novel Between Darkness and Light ) and her work focuses on the power women bring to the world when they recognize, honor, and express the gifts that are inherent in feminine energy. In her work both across the US and internationally, Susan assists women to recognize who they truly are and the part they are called to play in helping to re-establish balance and an ever deepening sense of possibility in society.

BEAUTY COMPETITION - LETS CALL IT A TIE

"I suppose letting go of such things as vanity, surface beauty, sexual appeal and youth market is somewhat scary."

"But we still let others ideas of us affect us. If someone looks down their nose at you, you feel a sting of "oh there is something wrong with me" followed by "that jerk". We give a lot of our power away due to physical differences in our bodies if we are not careful."

"This is notoriously harder on women, there is competition going on, who is more beautiful, who has most admirers, who has had most sex, who has had most boyfriends. Who has the best, most stylish clothes, most beautiful hair, who has the most expensive make-up, who applies it best... I want absolutely nothing to do with this side of 3D femininity."
~ From Niina's Dream Interpretation below the dream

The dream interpreting triggered a great  idea, first this was all about the dream but ended up being a truly spiritual experience.
You can skip the dream and go straight to the Dream Interpretation, that's where the idea struck me.
And if you are interested how this idea was brought to daily exsistence proceed to The Dream.

~ ☆ ☮ ☆ ~

The Dream: First dream had a ship, and there was a steering competition between us and them, in the end everyone hit bar and a couple kissed. In the second dream I recall blue and jeans, store, clothing, baby who almost got kidnapped. And in the last dream I was in a train, there was competition on weird hair do, I wasn't a participant, I got off the train and made my way up to the  bus stop where I went to get snack at a kiosk, I got really frustrated as my turn didn't come to pay as this guy was bad at his job, I threw my stuff off I took a bus to work.

Ship = As mentioned in all relevant dream symbols, bodies of water represent your unconscious, your emotions, and your accumulated soul experiences. The ship in your dream could represent you and the ways in which you navigate thought these parts of yourself. When interpreting this dream, consider the kind of voyage and the type of ship. Some dream interpretation books say that if the voyage is calm you should go forward with your plans. However, if it is a very stormy voyage, get ready for an emotional upset or challenge. ( "We" won the steering competition between us and them - the ship was beautiful, the seas calm )
Bar = When I was in college, I read in a theology book that a monk on a mountain top and a man with his bottle of wine are really trying to get to the same place. That "place" translates to peace and a genuine feeling of being connected to the rest of the universe. Dreaming about being in bars and drinking may symbolize a need that you have for some type of a meaningful transformation. On the other hand, this dream may be a form of wish fulfilment, and you are escaping into a pleasurable environment where daily cares and concerns are meaningless. If you rarely allow yourself to relax and socialize, this dream may be compensatory in nature. ( A need for a meaningful transformation - if I am in charge of my life now then perhaps that is a cause to a meaningful transformation of something old to new  )
Kiss = In this dream you may be expressing feelings that are difficult to express during the day. Kissing is usually an indication of warmth, affection, and happiness. If you don't receive enough love and affection in your daily life, then this could be a compensatory dream, where the dreamer is comforting himself. If you are kissing the object of your affection, the dream could be a form of wish fulfilment. ( It wasn't me kissing it was two other people, kiss indicates warmth, affection and happiness, perhaps this transformation will bring more of those )
Christmas = To dream of Christmas represents close relationships and joyful times with loved ones. It can also imply entering a new phase or stage of your life. Think about what feelings and emotions you hold regarding Christmas as well. ( Christmas is to me all about Peace and Joy, not people but generally everyone is more peaceful and happy it makes the energies around light I love that - entering new stage of life  )
Blue = Most people dream in colors, but at times some stand out more than others. Colors are symbolic and their symbolism is part of culture. We communicate with color and relate ideas with them. For example, a bride wears white and black is worn at funerals. Colors also represent energy. The meaning that you give to the colors in your dreams depends on the meaning that you give to those colors in daily life. Some generalizations have been made as to the meaning of colors in dreams. Blue: spirituality, optimism, positive thoughts, communication. Some believe that when you see it in your dreams, you may be in the presence of your spiritual guide.  ( It is funny that I remember nothing but Blue and Jeans of this part of the dream - perhaps my transformation is helped by my spiritual guides  )
Clothing = Clothing generally represent our worldly appearance or status. At times, it may represent our attitudes toward ourselves and others. Mostly, it represent the way that we appear to the world. Clothes are not symbolic of our private self, but rather of our public self. A poor man wears different clothes than a rich man. A doctor's attire is different from that of a carpenter. The type of clothing that we wear varies from situation to situation. The type of clothes that you are wearing in the dream will give you clues to the meaning of the dream and to your unconscious ideas about yourself and others. ( I was picking out new clothes to wear after transformation dream and mom ( The general image of "mother" in a dream may symbolize a variety of feelings and ideas: caring, nurturing, love, acceptance, hard work, sacrifice, martyrdom, etc.) was there - New status of caring, loving, nurturing, accepting, which probably bring up challenges on sacrifice and martyrdom )
Kidnapping = The main theme in abduction dreams is fear. The dreamer may be afraid of losing a very important part of himself or of losing his safest and most familiar surroundings. Also, the dreamer may be afraid of leaving his home, childhood, familiar support group, or long standing ideas. These type of dreams may be most prevalent during times of psychological or physical transition and during stressful times of life when the future is somewhat uncertain. Consider the details of your dream and try to isolate or identify the fear that created the dream. ( Fear of leaving long standing ideas - it wasn't really fearful experience as the kidnapping was stopped at the store door - so perhaps there is inkling of fear but nothing that would stop me at my tracks )
Zombie =  Dreaming about the living dead may carry a powerful message. If you are "walking around like a zombie," it usually means that you are emotionally disconnected from things going on around you. You may be experiencing unhealthy detachment and are unable to appropriately feel positive or negative emotions. Currently, you may be out of touch and outside of the main flow of life. This dream could positively sever you and help you to become aware of emotional issues and circumstances in daily life that are difficult to face. ( I saw zombies in one part of my dream - can't remember much but they were there, involving a bus )
Train = This dream symbol can be very complicated and its meaning is specific to the dreamer (as all dream symbols are). If you normally take the train to work and it is a part of your daily experience, closer attention should be paid to the other details of the dream. The train could also be symbolic of your need to move on and to do things in an orderly and sequential manner.  ( Details it is the only detail I recall is the hair-do competition - need to move on )
Hair = Hair is highly valued by most cultures. It is symbol of vanity, security, sensuality, sexual appeal, and of youth. In some cultures women are not allowed to show their hair outside their homes. Wealthy men go through painful surgery and spend thousands of dollars to replace lost hair follicles. Needless to say, hair is a valuable dream symbol. It represents physical and spiritual strength. Samson's hair was the source of his strength and virility. In our dreams hair can represent our thoughts, knowledge, and reasoning. White or gray hair represents age and wisdom while body hair may symbolize protection and warmth. When interpreting this dream make attempts to identify a primary issue and connect it to a situation in your daily life. ( Alright! So I have this Need to move on (train) from vanity, sexual appeal, youth competition as I didn't take part on the competition in the train - hair also present spiritual and physical strength, so perhaps it is because of those that I move on from these vanities )
Anger = This may be a carry-over from your daily life. In our dreams we can experience and express such feelings safely. Feeling great anger in your dream may be disturbing but pay attention to it and attempt to deal with all of your emotions in a more appropriate and productive manner. ( I was angry because I had to wait unreasonably long, I was afraid I'd miss the bus )
Bus = If the bus and/or the bus ride was a focal point of the dream consider the value that it holds for you. Does this dream say something about your ability to "fit in" and join a group effort, project, or trip? Do you function well in group settings? Are you a leader or a follower in such situations, and what is your comfort level? This dream could also reflect a part of your life (or the journey of your life) which involved many other people who seemed to be on a same path. It could be your family, friends, schoolmates or co-workers. ( That's the thing I do not fit it, I am not a leader or a follower in "society" I pull away from it and want sort of nothing to do with these Groups, not matter if they have family in them (there was an aunt in the bus and I ignored her like I did everyone else as well) or not. So why was I worried of missing the bus? )

~ ☆ ☮ ☆ ~

Niina's Dream Interpretation: This dream indicates I myself am in charge of my life and that will cause a meaningful transformation of something old to something new. This will bring warmth, affection, and happiness into my life, with the main theme of Peace and Joy. It seems while this takes place I am taken care of by spiritual guides of mine.

This will bring up a new status of caring, loving, nurturing, accepting, which probably will bring up challenges on sacrifice and martyrdom, even if there is kindness it doesn't mean one should let themselves be "used" and have to sacrifice part of themselves for others or to become a martyr by "dying" a little for a cause. No thank you.

There is fear of leaving long standing ideas, even though there wasn't really that much fear, I suppose letting go of such things as vanity, surface beauty, sexual appeal and youth market is somewhat scary. ;) What people think of you should not be a thought at all. ACiM talks about Illusions, and what others think of you is surely an illusion. We create our world, and even though we are co-creators it doesn't mean that anyone else's ideas of you should effect your idea of who you are.

Only you can decide how you feel about a matter, right? Only you can decide wither you like something, love something, no one can mix in with their emotion of the matter.
But we still let others ideas of us affect us. If someone looks down their nose at you, you feel a sting of 'oh there is something wrong with me' followed by 'that jerk'.
We give a lot of our power away due to physical differences in our bodies if we are not careful.

This is notoriously harder on women, there is competition going on, who is more beautiful, who has most admirers, who has had most sex, who has had most boyfriends. Who has the best, most stylish clothes, most beautiful hair, who has the most expensive make-up, who applies it best.
I want absolutely nothing to do with this side of 3D femininity.
Why is it harder for women than men? Well I personally think it's because women are more emotion based than men, we can easily with our intuition pick up what others feel. Other women who feed this beauty competition infect it nicely to other women, who share it in their energy. I'm not oblivious on the magazine influence either, but I think mainly women keep this up on their emotional fields, feeding this energy to one another, until they stop the cycle by coming aware of this competition.

I haven't looked at commercial or adds for few months now, and I am feeling purified of this beauty competition energy - I still come in contact with this energy daily, being looked down the nose of the physical manifestation of my beautiful co-creating sisters, which hurts a little a first but I try giving them love in return. They seem so use to of being judged daily that they look confused that I answer their evaluation of me with a smile. I truly believe we should call this competition a tie and move on.
After all how are we any different in our original state?
This is a big lesson for women to learn, to stop competing and love genuinely.

Of course this leaves the door open for what could be called being meek - which can lead back to being under the power of men again. We do not want that in our co-creation of earth.
The competition of beauty is a use of Power, we do not need to give up this power but redirect it.
Redirect it to what? What is our energy more wisely used for?
Instead of competing between one beauty and other, how about we share it, all that power of truly emotional, highly energetic power to direct to Beauty... The Beauty of Caring, Beauty of Nurturing, Beauty of Art, Beauty of Helping, the Beauty of our Land, Beauty of our Home, Beauty of Giving what only women can give the Heart and Love that is bathed in this powerful protective, unconditional acceptance and bliss.

I speak of the power of women, because I am one, and because women need to evolve, we need to be sisters instead of competition. Sisters that create this Earth to be their original energetic manifestation.
Just like you and me have personal lessons to learn, men and women have their collective lesson to learn so that an Earth that is capable of manifesting it's original Highest Purpose.

Every woman can feel that stirring under their skin when we speak of the Power that is inherently feminine, it's like the unstoppable wave of the ocean - and that is true, each woman is a wave of the ocean that makes Feminine Power. Unstoppable.

Women on the Edge of Evolution - http://womenontheedgeofevolution.com/access/ - enter the password "women."

To finish this dream interpretation I think I found a way to transform my anger of not fitting in to these groups to something more appropriate and productive indeed.

P.S. Following my dream revelation of my own, I got my hands to this free mp3 of the power women bring to the world when they recognize, honor, and express the gifts that are inherent in feminine energy. http://niinac.blogspot.com/2010/12/inherently-feminine-power-free-audio.html

MUSIC - JEWEL, SPIRIT

I rarely do album reviews, and trust me this isn't really one.

I simply wanted to let anyone who is in their life spiritual to know few things recarding this album.

The album is Jewel's Spirit.

Even the title gives promise, that is also delivered.
If you have read some Course in Miracles and Ekchart Tolle's Power Now & New Earth, you will love this album.

Why?

Well-- I have gathered some bits of lyrics on each song and added youtube links as well.
So read on and decide if you find it as beautiful and spiritual as well.

   1. "Deep Water" (Kilcher) – 4:16
we've compromised our pride
and sacrificed our health
we have to demand more
not of each other
but more from ourselves

   2. "What's Simple Is True" (Kilcher) – 3:34
'cause the more i live
the more i know
what's simple is true
i love, i love you

   3. "Hands" (Kilcher, Patrick Leonard) – 3:54

If I could tell the world just one thing
It would be that we're all OK
and not to worry 'cause worry is wasteful
and useless in times like these
I won't be made useless
I won't be idle with despair
I will gather myself around my faith
For light does the darkness most fear

My hands are small, I know
But they're not yours, they are my own
But they're not yours, they are my own
and I am never broken

4. "Kiss The Flame" - 3:16

there are nightmares on the sidewalks
there are jokes on tv
there are people selling thoughtlessness
with such casualty
but wherefore art thou, romeo
where have all the brave men gone?
show me one man who knows his own heart
to him i shall belong

   5. "Down So Long" (Kilcher) – 4:13
i take a trip, i catch a train, i catch a plane
i got a ticket in my hand
and then a man takes my money
and like cattle we all stand

   6. "Innocence Maintained" (Kilcher) – 4:08
a small town in ohio
two boys are filled with violence
and darkness spreads its legs for hate and ignorance
we are given to a god to put our faith therein
but to be forgiven, we must first believe in sin
we've made houses for hatred
it's time we made a place
where people's souls may be seen and made safe
be careful with each other
these fragile flames
for innocence can't be lost
it just needs to be maintained

   7. "Jupiter" (Kilcher) – 4:18
oh, oh jupiter
oh, oh be still my little heart
oh, oh love is a flame neither timid nor tame
take these stars from my crown
let the years fall down
lay me out in firelight
let my skin feel the night
fasten me to your side
say it will be soon
you make me so crazy, baby
could swallow the moon

   8. "Fat Boy" (Kilcher) – 2:54

   9. "Enter from the East" (Kilcher) – 4:02
i went out a-wandering
beneath an unknown sky
the heavens all shook violently
he caught my eye
strange fruit fell
it struck me to the core
my heart became a single flame
it wanted nothing more

  10. "Barcelona" (Kilcher) – 3:53
but if you could hear the voice in my heart it would tell you
i'm afraid i am alone
won't somebody please hold me, release me
show me the meaning of mercy
let me loose
fly, let me fly, let me fly

  11. "Life Uncommon" (Kilcher) – 4:56
lend your voices only to sounds of freedom
no longer lend your strength to that which you wish to be free from
fill your lives with love and bravery
and you shall lead a life uncommon

i've heard your anguish,
i've heard your hearts cry out
we are tired, we are weary, but we aren't worn out

  12. "Do You" (Kilcher) – 4:21
we shake our fists and say,
"well good golly, we're mad
that god kills children with our very own hands."
we claim innocence and not to understand
or do you, do we?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOVzkz9cLwI

  13. "Absence of Fear" (Kilcher) – 7:25
I am wanting, and...
I am needing you
To be here
Inside the absence of fear
There is this hunger
This restlessness inside of me
And it knows that you're no stranger,
You're my gravity

Great gem at 1:26:00 - Do you think women's fear of the effect of their feminine powerhas prevented us from making this leap on our own spirituality?
In our Beyond Awakening series, I just had an incredible dialogue with Claire Zammit in which she described her personal story and recent work catalyzing an  explosive community centering on feminine power and  spirituality. We waded into what is sometimes "dangerous territory" -- what sometimes makes things difficult between men and women, and how women becoming empowered can paradoxically open up new co-creative synergies between men and women.
