SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH
What would happen if societies all over the world stopped taking care of people who do nothing but lie in front of the TV all day, eat tons of processed foods and drink alcohol to numb their minds?
I'm not a cold person, very far from it, but I cannot help but to wonder would Darwin's theory take place, would the weak take themselves out of the equation?
Finland has its fair share of problems, the one that easily comes to my mind is drunks in public places, just few months ago two drunks got into a knife fight 500 yards from where I live and one died. Now - if you gave two smart, active, motivated people knifes and got them rattled up I doubt they would go at it like the drunks, right? I mean imagine your two smartest most decent friends, the other says f-you to the other, is a fight to the death gonna break out? Most likely your answer is no. Well -- so is mine. So this brings me to wonder about this...
If one were to believe in the malevolent illuminati and their desire to control, then wouldn't this sort of cross with it? If humanity was still in the survival of the fittest full-mode then people probably would be less likely controlled because smart people tend to think for themselves, they tend to try eat better go organic, be active, stay motivated and get less depressed and stuck in front of the TV. Perhaps I'm rambling and in my defense it is only 6 a.m. and I've been up since 4 a.m. thinking about stuff as I cannot sleep ( due to flu ).
I'd really like to get feedback from anyone crossing by this, what do you think about the survival of the fittest concerning where spirituality is going and how you see it tying to 'nwo'?
THOUGHTS ON ILLUMINATI - ARTICLE
... The question I would like to ask is, in the maze of information/disinformation about potential secret societies, how are we to react to them? The best reaction for one possibility is the wrong reaction for another. For example, if it turns out the Illuminati is actually benevolent in nature ( and I’m not saying that is or isn’t the case ) the resisting them and trying to expose them will only create problems for us. If it turns out that they are malevolent in nature, however, and we choose to just ignore them, then we play into their hands and their status quo is maintained.

HEALTHY TEETH: MYRIAD OF INFORMATION TO SEED THROUGH
"Eating healthy is not just about eating fruits and vegetables. It is about eating mineral dense food sources, regularly, as in twice per day or more." ~Ramiel Nagal
"Most of the early studies on xylitol consumption and tooth decay were carried out with xylitol gum. Since chewing gum elicits an increase in salivation, it was uncertain if the xylitol or the stimulated saliva flow accounted for the decrease in decay rate. Increased salivation does exert a cleansing influence on teeth, has a buffering effect on the bacterial acids, and results in an increase of calcium and phosphate, which causes a healing or hardening of tooth enamel. This question was answered when chewing gums sweetened with different sweeteners were compared in a field study of 4th-grade students in Central America. The highest decay rate was found in children who chewed sugar-containing gum, even higher than those children who did not chew gum. Sugar-free gum did lower the decay rate, but the most dramatic drop in the decay rate was observed in children chewing 100%-sweetened xylitol gum."Read the whole article here: http://www.tidewaterwomen.com/back-issues/2011-issues/aromatherapy/item/175-xylitol-sweet-answer-to-healthy-teeth?tmpl=component&print=1 and see if you want to be doing the same routine.
Wither I believe that regular dental care is right or alternative is right, I see no harm in following them both as best as I can. I firmly believe what we eat effects our health so why wouldn't it affect our dental health.
I believe my whole grain, as organic as possible diet of the vegetarian and non-alcoholic kind will help my teeth be stronger.
As I continue with this journey to find tools and advice on the best dental care I am about to leave for my first dental appointment to fix what needs to be fixed, knowing my healing work has worked it's wonder and what still needs to be done is in the highest good of me.
If you feel so, feel free to send healing to me and my teeth as we continue on our search for the right solutions.

FOOD, PLANTS & MEDICAL SYSTEM ( RADIO INTERVIEW )

ON EMOTIONAL EATING
![]() |
Click it for bigger picture! |
I am a vegetarian, and I love cooking with prober ingredients, or at least what I currently think are prober ingredients! ;) That said - I have been batteling with food issues lately, and I have been confused about why I am drawn to food that isn't really food at all, maily processed foods and sugar. And I haven't really found a lot of prober spiritual explanations for it! Go figure. ;)
Being attuned to my body has been helpful but not really helping enough to break the cycle. The cycle being sugar in it's candy form ( pretty much the worst graving you can imagine ), see my mind knows how extremely bad sugar is for me, mind and body, but it is a powerful addictive subject so it's hard to get rid of it.
I stopped drinking alcohol in April 2010, which was easy as I've never really been into drinking in my adult age ( of course when I was young and in school alcohol was part of the group experience hense it happened every now and then ), I stopped because it wasn't in my spiritual path anymore.
Then I stopped drinking coffee in November 2010, now that was harder, not that I graved it, no, but my body went through 3 days of withdrawls of headaches, muscle aches and nausea. I stopped drinking coffee because of the caffein, a artificial pick me up. Now candy, being pretty much just sugar is trickier for me as it's a mood enhancer, literally sugar gives you a high ( not druggy high but sudden burst of feel good that only last a little while ). So when it's been a tough day at work ( I feel like I should talk in past tense as work's been good lately, less stress ) I notice the pick me up for me is going to the store as I get food and get candy as well, and when I eat it it does make me a little happier or relaxed for a while.
I can regocnise this behavior, which is good as it's probably the first step! Now the next step is to figure out how to stop doing this, how to break the cycle, and this is where I'll introduce you to this video of Leija Turunen's!
From YouTube:
❞ Do you ever eat when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, sad, lonely, hopeless, angry, confused, lost, or even bored? Do you sometimes (or quite often) use food to suppress/ numb that pain you feel or use it in attempt to fill some void you feel through not (essentially) connecting to the heartspace and creative, spiritual self? I share my personal experience with emotional eating, why I feel I did it, and share some of the ways I worked through these issues. Of course there are going to be different reasons for why people eat emotionally, but for the majority of people, it usually comes down to one or more of the following:I really liked her tip to go and do something when you grave food, when you don't Need food for nutrition.
- Not being in alignment with your passions / having a stressful job - Believing you can't pursue a career that is in alignment with your passions and support yourself financially.
- Not knowing how to manage emotional pain / stress in a healthy way.
- Not speaking your truth / suppressing who you really are in some way.
- Feeling bored and entertaining yourself with food.
- Trying to escape or distract yourself from your problems with food.
- Being a very sensitive / empathic person and feeling completely overwhelmed with life on this planet, and not knowing how to nurture your sensitivity / protect yourself from the harshness.
- Having an overall feeling of stress and anxiety, which could be for a myriad of reasons, but when it comes down to it, it's a disconnection to the heartspace.
- Feeling a void within - Not even knowing who you are, what you're truly passionate about (feeling disconnected) because of the influences from the media, education system, food & "disease-care" industry- ie. processed foods, fluoride, pharmaceutical drugs like prozac. Not connecting to your creativity and spiritual side enough, and instead listening to once again, to the external influences and your ego's ideas about why you're not good enough as you are right now.
- Perhaps having experienced something really traumatic, and using food to try to suppress/ numb that pain you still feel. Whatever the reason is, I feel that some of the things I talk about in this video can help you to some degree. ❞
And her idea of connectin to the sweetness of life, so we don't have to fight boredom with chocolate, hit home for me.
So what I am taking from this video, mainly, is Calm Down, Get Out when I have candy graving ( 08:15 - 10:05 ) and workout the body and mind to solve emotions instead of eating candy.
Also tackling my personal habit of shopping for food daily, and instead doing it two to three times a week, so I have no reason to go to the store daily and pick up bad fake foods.
I'm excited to try this! I feel like I have to find my own right way to do this, what is right for my body and mind and soul. I don't want to go in anyway against my body and what is right for it.
Another experiment begins!

WHAT IS FLUORIDE? AND WHY WE SHOULDN'T CONSUME IT
04:25 is where the interviews end and "What is Fluoride?" beings.
I live in Finland where we don't have Fluoride in tap water ( thank goodness! ) so I'm still using toothpaste with fluoride untill I hear/do more research about what amount of fluoride is safe to use in toothpaste or what is better for cavity prevention... ( like less acid and more calsium in food )
What shocks me about Fluoride is that it really is a toxin that you are not suppose to eat or drink, yet it is in bottled waters, anti-depressants like prozac and many other products such as milk, chewing gum and antibiotics!
Article on both sides of the matter: http://www.scienceclarified.com/dispute/Vol-2/Does-the-addition-of-fluoride-to-drinking-water-cause-significant-harm-to-humans.html
So watch the video and share with those you think should know as well!
P.S: Funny fact about this blog entry - it seems it impossible for me to type fluoride, I went back and checked the text and every fluoride was written flouride. :D LOL! It's either my light dyslexia acting up or I want flour??? ;)

14 SIGNS OF CHANGE RIGHT NOW
(NaturalNews) A lot of people believe the world as we know it is going to end on December 23, 2012. Nonsense, I say. The far more honest answer is that the end of the world as we know it has already begun. And it doesn't mean the end of the world; it means the closing of one era and the birth of a new one. It is a transition between the ages. This particular transition, however, promises to be the most tumultuous and costly transition humankind has ever seen.
But don't wait around for December 2012 to look for the signs. Here are 14 signs that the world as we know it is unraveling right now. We are living through the end of one era and the birth of a new one. In the future, they'll look back and call this all one moment in history, but when you're living through it, it seems to move forward at almost a snail's pace. But make no mistake: We are living through the opening chapters of the end of the world as we know it, and on the other side of all this will emerge a new world that's very different from the one we know today.
#1 - Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis - At first it seemed like a fluke; but now it's a pattern. The weather is becoming increasingly extreme. Over 120 tornadoes recently struck the U.S. Midwest. Texas is on fire and suffering through an extreme drought. And where there aren't fires and droughts, there are floods. This is only the beginning... watch for more freak weather over the next 18 months.
#2 - The silence of the bees - Colony Collapse Disorder continues to accelerate across North America. We already know it's being caused in part by chemical pesticides (and possibly worsened by GMOs), but the chemical industry is engaged in a full-on cover-up to deny this truth while the pollinators of our world suffer a devastating population collapse. (http://www.naturalnews.com/028218)
#3 - The failure of nuclear science - The Fukushima catastrophe proves one thing: Scientists are dangerously arrogant in their planning of large-scale projects, and they fail to account for the awesome power of Mother Nature. Nuclear science promised us clean, green energy -- but now it has delivered a silent, invisible poison that's infecting our planet.
#4 - The vicious pursuit of Wikileaks - In an age of such rampant deceit, there is no room for the truth. So those who tell the truth (Wikileaks) are viciously pursued as if they were criminals.
#5 - The rise of the medical police state - The armed SWAT raids on Maryanne Godboldo in Detroit are only the beginning (http://www.naturalnews.com/032091). The truth is that the medical system uses guns to force its vaccines and chemotherapy onto children and teens across America. The medical system has become so utterly useless, corrupt and dangerous that it must actually invoke guns in peoples' faces just to "convince" people to take its medicine. This is a gunpoint-enforced medical monopoly that exists as a threat to our health and our freedoms.
#6 - The increasing frequency of food shortages and crop failures - Notice the spike in food prices? That's just the beginning: Food prices will continue to skyrocket in the years ahead due to extreme weather, the loss of pollinators and the global contamination of crops by GMOs. Real food is becoming increasingly scarce in our world. You might want to think about starting a home garden...

WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
There is another extreme as well, the ones who are slaves to the wants of the body. The body sees something and it has to be had, new shoes - oh must get those, new tea - oh have to have that, new chocolate - oh I want that so bad! The filter never really kicks into gear.
Alright, so is there a Golden middle? If you've ever visited it, you bet your behind there is!
But what to give in to? Guidelines, anyone? No, I'm afraid not. There really isn't a universal way to listen to your body, for the simplest reason, we aren't the same we don't eat the same things, we don't wear the same things, we don't have the same genetic make-up - where the guy next to you might have iron deficiensy, you don't. Where the girl on your other side might have too much salt in her diet, you do not.
This is why there cannot be solid rules. We have to go by ear and start to little by little learn to intepret the signals and needs of the body.
Had salads for four days straight, and graving chips? Instead of saying in your head I'm graving junk food, give this a thought - salt deficiensy, now instead of chips, get the healthier option, try pickles. Graving to eat Fish - you might be in need of Potassium or vitamins A and D.
Why I'm blogging about this is because I've been a vegetarian for 8 months now, before that I still ate fish while otherwise on a vegetarian diet since last April, so since I stopped eating fish 8 months ago I haven't given it second though as a food. But then about two weeks ago whenever I saw fish in a magazine I felt like "yummy I want that" - slightly confusing. I first ignored, but as it didn't go away I asked myself a question. Why am I denying what my body needs? It isn't going away it would have already passed in a week, it isn't a want but a need, so why am I not listening to the messages my body is giving me?
That struck bit of a core with me, I am very attuned to my body and what it needs and lately I've been truly ignoring it. So what I did was get a fish for dinner, quit my 'dark months of winter' candy habit, and begun to exercise ( speaking of which after I'm done with this blog, I'm ready for my Zumba 50min Cardio Party! ).
Instead of just being about one dinner of Fish, this topic when thought about set off a whole flair things!
And the funny thing is I haven't graved fish sence. ;)
Sometimes fish isn't just fish, sometimes food is a key ingredient in a little life change!
But truly listening to your body, everyone should do daily. Atleast once a day have a really good listen to something that your body wants and needs - there is a whole world to Discover about yourself, trust me you know so little and there is so much to learn! And it can be great fun! Atleast I love nothing more than that Oh, That's Why! moment that comes out of the blue.
So wether its about eating something, buying new shoes or getting the right brand of tea, trust your body - it is capable to pick up color and pattern signals of things you need, but more than that it's a channel to your conciousness and mind to give you things that are right for you at the moment, and with them an insight to your life here.

ASPARTAME PUTS DIE IN DIET SODA
Aspartame: Is the sweet taste worth the harm?
You can't imagine how hard soft drinks sweetened with Aspartame are on your body. A must-see for anybody with a sweet tooth, this exposé reveals the dangers of Aspartame consumption. Americans constantly obsess over the latest diet fads and skinny trends, yet we're one of the unhealthiest nations on the planet.
According to the US Surgeon General, obesity plagues more than 30% of Americans, killing over 300,000 people every year! Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are also all on the rise, with one of the main culprits in this disturbing trend being sugar. Almost 20% of our daily calorie intake comes from refined white sugar. That works out to about 150 pounds of sugar per year!
Consumed in small amounts, sugar actually helps your metabolism and supplies a quick boost of energy. In excess, sugar adds nothing but empty calories to your body. Many people have recognized this and now opt for sugar free alternatives, allowing for the rise of the artificial sugar industry. The most prevalent artificial sugar in our food supply today is called aspartame, which is also recognized as NutraSweet or Equal. Aspartame has made its way into more than 6,000 products including almost all diet sodas, chewing gum, frozen desserts, yogurt, and even vitamins and cough drops.
200 times sweeter than sugar, aspartame is a combination of two amino acids: aspartic acid and phenylalanine.
Even though the safety of aspartame has been affirmed by the Food and Drug Administration 26 times in the past 23 years, the FDA has received more complaints about adverse reactions to aspartame than any other food ingredient in the agency's history. In fact, at least 30% of the US population is sensitive to even moderate doses of aspartame and may suffer several symptoms. Immediate reactions include severe headaches, dizziness, attention difficulties, memory loss, throat swelling, and seizures. Long term effects include blood sugar problems, insomnia, diabetes, ovarian cancer, and brain tumours. One study from Kings College in England found that the more NutraSweet is consumed, the more likely tumours are to develop. With all of the hazards associated with aspartame, how did this sweetener get approved in the first place?
The flurry of debate about Searle's tests prompted the FDA to establish a Public Board of Inquiry, comprised of independent scientists to rule on safety issues surrounding NutraSweet. In 1980, The Public Board of Inquiry concluded that NutraSweet should not be approved pending further investigations of brain tumours in animals.
The following year, Ronald Reagan became President of the United States. His transitional team, which included Donald Rumsfeld, CEO of Searle (manufacturer of aspartame), then handpicked Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes Jr. to be the new FDA Commissioner. In one of his first official acts, the new FDA commissioner overruled the Public Board of Inquiry's recommendations and authorized aspartame in dry foods and carbonated beverages. In fact, The National Soft Drink Association (NSDA) to delay approval of aspartame for carbonated beverages because of its instability in liquid form. When liquid aspartame reaches a temperatures above 85 degrees Fahrenheit, it breaks down known toxins and side effects become worsened.
Arthur Hull, FDA commissioner who pushed through aspartame, later left the FDA under allegations of impropriety and took a position with Burson-Marsteller, the chief public relations firm for both Monsanto and GD Searle, revealing his apparent conflicts of interest with aspartame's manufacturer. The first carbonated beverages containing aspartame hit the market in 1983 and for the last twenty-five years aspartame has made its way into thousands of food and beverage products.
Even in the face of its sordid past, weight-conscious Americans will likely still opt for products containing aspartame because it is marketed as a weight loss aid. Ironically, studies have shown that it actually increases appetite and sugar intake because the empty sweetness from artificial sugars makes your body expect food. When it doesn't arrive, you actually get hungrier! Recently, many people are jumping on the sucralose, or Splenda bandwagon, but this might not be the best substitute.

WHY DOES EATING LOCAL, ORGANIC FOODS MATTER?
You can't really start a conversation about this with intelligent person without the topic of pesticide and genetically modified foods coming up. Thank god for that! I'm sure people are aware, they know for example that eating MSG ( monosodium glutamate ) potato chips isn't good for you, drinking aspartame ( poisoning and side effects ) diet drinks isn't good for you.
It is unfortunate that all this crucially important information comes through conspiracy theorist - it tends to loose momentum at least ten fold due to it. If a raving guy on youtube presents these facts of what is in our food, and how oestrous it is to give this to us, by the time he mentions "The Elite" or "New World Order" ( what is NWO ) people huff and puff and look at something else.
I believe in Integral point of view. Each and everyone has truth some more than others, but we all have truth in us. Conspiracy theorists know because it comes naturally for them to search news and books on details of how mankind is getting sucker bunched. They run into things that pass through main news like water through sieve, without much of a look from the public. So the news reaches a small amount of people because of the ravings including what ever is popular at the moment.
What Food and People need is a serious documentary ( writing this I wonder has Michael Moore delved on this yet ), we need a serious channel to tell us what is going on so that most people can be reached, without people telling them Bush is new satan. A documentary of substance, of hard facts, news articles, studies.

I've had to train myself to watch some of these exposé videos on food, drugs and controlling our living environment, I've had to learn to listen to the facts and block out the conspiracies just to keep up with what's good for me and what is not. ( this is why you see me post these videos on psychological drugs, chemtrails, genetically modified foods )
Do your best to buy clean normal foods, organics when you can, local and close by - and say no to genetically modified seeds and cancer inducing pesticide through your vote on who takes a seat in your government.

WOMEN, FOOD AND GOD (BOOK)
I first heard of "Women, Food and God" by Geneen Roth when she opened as quest when the teleseries ( free by the way ;) ) Women on the Edge of Evolution started again.
Then another e-mail to her 150$ online retreat arrived - it sounded really good, but as on a forever budget I have no way to participate I decided to look up her book instead ( 13€ vs. 150$ - and we had a clear winner ). From the first paragraph on her prologue and I wanted the book and ordered the book! Have look yourself and see if you order it as well.
Geneen Roth's pioneering books were among the first to link compulsive eating and perpetual dieting with deeply personal and spiritual issues that go far beyond food, weight and body image.
She believes that we eat the way we live, and that our relationship to food, money and love is an exact reflection of our deepest held beliefs about ourselves and the amount of joy, abundance, pain or scarcity we believe we have (or are allowed to have) in our lives.
Rather than pushing away the "crazy" things we do, Geneen's work proceeds with the conviction that our actions and beliefs make exquisite sense, and that the way to transform our relationship with food is to be open, curious and kind with ourselves--instead of punishing, impatient and harsh.
In the past thirty years, she has worked with hundreds of thousands of people using meditation, inquiry, and a set of seven eating guidelines that are the foundation of natural eating.

MAINTAINING A HEALTHY BODY (TUNING IN)
To give an example is I have been eating so well this year, vegetarian, organic (as much as possible) and eating foods my body need for its nutrition - blessing the food to fill its highest purpose on earth.
But then somewhere I had a taste of sugar, in a form of candy, and my human genetics took over. Humans are so easily addicted to two flavors sweet and salty, and once you have a taste of them the cycle is tough to break again. See this article on Sugar Addiction by Holistic Health website M. Ed, Cynthia Perkins.
So - I had a taste of sugar and it snow balled! Especially after one child's birthday!
So here am I am, addicted to sugar again, all kinds, candy, cinnamon buns and sweet yogurts and such...
I knew this was a problem, but I had thought of it very little from "How is my body doing?" - view and more from, oh buggers my diets shot to hell. ;)
But on my defence I had thought about at least little, instead being totally clueless. ;)
So yesterday, there I was, at work, having a piece of candy left over from a party and - TOOTH ACHE.
Oh yes - the worst reminder possible of you are abusing your body, Miss.
That stopped my candy eating pretty darn quickly.
It took me two seconds to realize my body is telling me to stop, I can't abuse my body with toxic, refined-to-death sugar without consequences. I cannot maintain a Healthy Body, Spirit and Mind if I pollute my own body, aura and life force.
It is a small pain, but the message of it was written on my forehead with cat size letters.
- a) stop eating sugar you fool - you've done it before, you can do it again!
- b) in visualisation bless and do healing work on you teeth and body, and aura
- c) brush brush brush
- d) if necessary, get an appointment with a dentist
You need few follow up questions:
- a) Where does it hurt?
- b) What is the first cause that comes to mind? (this is where you body-mind intuition needs to be trusted)
- c) What have you recently been worried about? (health, jealousy, anger, money, relationship?)
- d) Unite above 3 questions as a whole package and determine what needs to be done to fix it (look at the abcd above this for frame work "stop-heal-act" method)

If we communicate with our body we can live in peace with it - it is almost like a loved home that we want to keep in good shape, a lovely home where electricity runs smoothly, windows are intact, plumbing works. ;)
If your stove is broken you don't ignore it for weeks do you?
If at winter you windows leak warmth out you don't ignore that for weeks do you?
Fix your stove, repair your windows, keep your home healthy, beautiful and fully operational - This is not so different from listening to your body, stopping-healing-acting on what your body deems important.
Take notice of these:
- a) Is there any pains or discomforts in your body or mind?
- b) How do you feel after you eat meat/fish/sugar/salt?
- c) How do you feel after a hard day of work, mentally or physically?
- d) How does "Jane Doe" make you feel, do you like being around her? What feelings spring up? (this is what we could call soul relationship work, reincarnation work and soul mate work)

1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 sleeves saltine crackers
4 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts such as pistachios
*
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a cookie sheet, preferably one with sides, with aluminum foil. Spread crackers side by side, one layer thick. If you do not have a cookie sheet with sides, build a little ridge with the tin foil so the sauce does't run off the sides.
Combine sugar and butter in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Let boil until sugar dissolves, a few minutes max. Pour hot sugar and butter mixture over crackers. Spread to cover evenly. Bake at 400°F for five minutes. Take out of the oven and let them cool.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or in a microwave proof dish. Spread chocolate mix evenly over the top of the brickle cracker layer. Sprinkle with nuts and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Break into pieces and store in airtight container in the refrigerator.

Vegetarian
For some odd reason my turning into a lacto-ovo-vegetarian to lessen the violance in my life, caused a lot of stir.
Apparently people don't just turn vegetarian, unless they want to lose weight in my near circle.
My point was very clear, I didn't want someone to go through violence for me.
It seems hard to understand by my fellow co-workers and family members.
My husband thinks it's bit hypocritical that I don't assosiate killing plants into "killing anything".
And I do understand no life is more important than the other... but I think our emotions make them still different.
I would love to explain clearly the symbiotic relationship that we (humans) have with plants.
And how it is different from the act violently killing a chicken, cow, pig, dog...
I saw an article in Minä Olen - Magazine that said people shouldn't pay too much attention to what they or others eat. Cause in the end we aren't what we eat, but we are what we think. And seeing differences instead of similarities keeps you from achieving unity and happiness.
So focus on what you love about another person, not how you are different.
