TIBETIAN EYE EXERCISES ~FOR BETTER SIGHT~

I just did these exercises and I have to say my right eye took it harder, I could feel the difference in the two eyes, the left was pretty okay with all but right one had more tearfluids and I felt almost like a continues tuck at the outer corner of my right eyes. I recall that in the last check up there was some difference between my eyes, I'm going to go and check my card right now! Yep, according to my prescription card, my right eyes had just slightly more going on with axis as well as cylindrical sight.
So obviously the Tibetian Eye Exercises work on something they work some how.
"If used for a few minutes, twice per day, your eyes should improve greatly over a few months."

Tibetan Peripheral Vision Technique
How important is peripheral vision? Everyone uses their peripheral vision while driving, walking, playing sports, at work and at home. In fact, if one not using their peripheral vision, he/she would end up with "tunnel vision". Gazing hard, straight forward, makes the eyes lose the ability to see clearly peripherally (side-vision).

How well see on the sides? Before being taught to read, children can see with their side (peripheral) vision clear and sharp. "The normal eye sees one thing BEST, but not one thing only." By developing the "Peripheral" (side vision), one can have "eyes behind the head." Gazing straight (forward), without moving to either side. Just pay attention to what is going on "peripherally" on the right and left sides.

   1. Hold a pencil in each hand, twelve inches / thirty centimeter in front of the eyes.
   2. Gaze straight out past the pencils into the "distance", without looking directly at the pencils. See the pencils with the "Peripheral Vision." Do not look directly at the pencils.
   3. Move each pencil sloooowly to the sides of each eye, as far as it can be seen them peripherally. Repeat this front-to-side movement at least ten times.
   4. Next, move the pencils, right hand upward and left hand downward, ten times.
   5. Next, move the pencils right hand diagonally upward, and left hand diagonally downward, ten times.
   6. Next, move the pencils left hand diagonally upward, and right hand diagonally downward, ten times.
   7. Next, hold pencils twelve inches in front of the eyes and make a circle about two or three feet in diameter, from in front of the eyes, out to the sides.

Keep the eyes looking straight ahead in all Seven Steps. Perform circles clockwise and counterclockwise.

Eye exercise using Tibetan chart
Attach a Tibetan Eye Chart on a wall with the center spot aligned approximately with your nose when you sit down. Your nose should be four to six inches ( about 15cm ) away from the spot. Remove your glasses or contacts, if you wear them before beginning the eye exercises.
Sit with your spine straight in front of the eye chart and move your eyes clockwise on each dot of the outer circle, until you have made a complete circle. Keep your head still at all times while moving only your eyes. Move your eyes counterclockwise in the same way. Blink your eyes a few times, then relax them.

Notice the dots representing two o'clock and eight o'clock on the eye chart. Move your eyes back and forth between these two dots a few times. Notice the dots for four o'clock and 10 o'clock. Move your eyes back and forth between these a few times also.

Palm your eyes by placing your right palm over your right eye and your left palm over your left eye. Let your fingers cross from both hands so they are at an angle, resting on your nose bridge. Support your elbows on a table or on your lap. You should feel a suction slightly on your eyeballs from the palms of your hands but no pressure, just soothing darkness. Sit for three to five minutes.

Remove your palms and move your eyes clockwise slowly on the eye chart, this time on the outer edge of each of the arms. Repeat counterclockwise. If you feel like it, repeat again clockwise, then counterclockwise.

If you feel eye strain, stop. When you're ready, blink a few times, then sit and palm your eyes as before for three to five minutes.

Eyesight Results

Practicing the Tibetan Eye Exercises a few minutes each morning and each evening to help start improving your eyesight right away. These eye exercises, including the palming, help relieve stress and strain on your eyes, even more important if you work late hours or if you spend much time looking at computer screens. Purchase or freely download a Tibetan Eye Chart online.

Do each movement for 30 seconds while in a sitting position, spine straight and do not move the head but eyes.
  1. With the palm of each hand cup both closed eyes to relax them.
  2. Move the eyes clockwise around the outer circle of dots
  3. Repeat this movement in a counterclockwise rotation
  4. Move the eyes back and forth between the dots at 2 and 8 o'clock
  5. Repeat this movement back and forth between dots at 4 and 10 o'clock
  6. With the palm of each hand cup both closed eyes to relax them.
  7. Move the eyes clockwise this time on the outer edge of each of the arms
  8. Repeat this movement in a counterclockwise rotation
  9. Blink the eyes briefly and finish therapy with the eye palming.

Repeat exercises as desired being careful to avoid strain. After beginning therapy wear eyeglasses and contacts as little as possible. In time these crutches will become unnecessary.

Blog entry on Tibetian Eyes Exercises:
"The design of this Eye Chart was created by Tibetan Monks to exercise the eye muscles. The Tibetans have used natural eyesight improvement for centuries. If used for a few minutes, twice per day, your eyes should improve greatly over a few months. Normal eyes shift rapidly and continuously. Eyes with defective vision are fixed and staring. When staring eyes learn to shift, vision is improved. The eyeball is like a camera, and changes in focal length. To focus the camera you must adjust the distance from the negative to the front of the camera lens. Increase this distance to focus for close vision and decrease it for distant viewing."

I have two weeks off work, almost after Christmas Eve so I'm thinking, that would be prefect time to give this a honest to gof try, without eyeglasses.
And with follow the sight of seeing with Love we will see how this will work, I am all for science! :)

Love, Light and Joy!
